Cherry Firewood for Smoking Food (Green)

Cherry firewood is ideal for smoking food! Green cherry firewood will produce just the right amount of smoke in a smoker. The flavor that it adds is amazing! Our cherry firewood is harvested from healthy trees in local Adirondack wood lots. Chefs and BBQ restaurants love smoking meats and cooking with cherry firewood. Cherry adds such a tasty and unique flavor to the food with a subtle sweetness to boot. A small amount of green cherry firewood can go a long way! This means that you only need to add a couple of pieces to the fire to enhance the flavor of what you are cooking. Cherry firewood goes great with a variety of meats including Pork, Ribs, and Chicken!
If you don’t use all of your green cherry firewood right away then let it get dry. Cherry is a hardwood and can be burned indoor or outdoor. You won’t be disappointed as cherry smells fantastic in your fireplace!
For easy stacking and storage, we cut the wood to 16 inches or less. The split size of the wood is consistent. However, we can custom cut the length anywhere from 12 inches to 20 inches. Just give us a call if you would like to order a custom size!
