The flavor that it adds is amazing! Our hickory firewood is harvested from healthy trees in local Adirondack wood lots. If you don’t use all of your green hickory firewood right away and it seasons, you won’t be disappointed. Hickory has very dense wood fibers which means that it burns hot and lasts a long time. This makes for a superior fire. Because of the dense fibers, hickory is difficult to cut and split. So leave the work to us, and enjoy our quality hickory firewood.
For easy stacking and storage, we cut the wood to 16 inches or less, and the split size of the wood is consistent. However, we can custom cut the length anywhere from 12 inches to 22 inches. Just give us a call if you would like to order a custom size!
